Propel Program

Propel is a six-month leadership development program for Ontario hospital leaders who have the motivation and potential to become hospital CEOs in the future. In cohorts of 10-12, leaders participate in immersive in-person sessions, peer learning, case-based discussion, storytelling, and reflection to:

• build a clearer understanding of the CEO role;
• assess their leadership readiness;
• develop a provincial peer network;
• and become more prepared to lead an Ontario hospital in the future.

Participants are nominated by their hospital’s incumbent CEO based on clear eligibility criteria.
